Although we do not have to agree on everything, we agree to disagree and always agree to listen and respect the other person's point of view. -WAMA instructors use feedback from customers, and other instructors to improve the curriculum. - WAMA instructors never put down other WAMA instructors, or their programs ("my program is better than yours") and try to resolve issues pertaining to WAMA directly as opposed to through "the grapevine." - WAMA corporate decisions are WAMA decisions not consultant decisions, albeit feedback, when appropriate, will be sought from consultants in good standing. - WAMA offers an array of martial arts programs because of their interconnectivity to each other. There is no superior martial art or program at WAMA. Students attending these programs are WAMA students, not "tae kwon do students," or "Hapkido students," or "Tai Chi students." Students at WAMA are WAMA students. We are a family. All consultatns must sign a non-compete and non-disclosure agreement. All WAMA consultants are eligible for profit sharing, when that becomes available, and with franchise purchase agreements (we help build your own school). All consutlatns are required to pass a secutiry check (with finger prints). *classes are structured for 50 minutes in a one-hour block of time (50 minutes that fits in between 7-8:00 P.M., for example); a class is considered a one hour time slot. If the instructor chooses to go longer than the 50 minute time slot, s/he can request permission to do so, but is, generally, paid for the hour long class period only. Under certain circumstances, certain instructors can earn a consultant fee for partial hours if the class meets only one time per week (i.e. class meets for 75 minutes and instructor earns $11 per hour, a new fee of $13 can be arranged- --$15/90 minutes, before taxes and other deductions). To meet customer demand, cover costs, and make sure that all tuition plans are in line with each other, the "hourly class"stucture will be followed, as closely as possible where no special conditions exist, whether a class meets once, twice, or three times per week.
