Lecture Series

On-line Health Courses- One hour lectures on-line, real time using streaming video cam. The course content can cover most of the presentations below. Office hours for Q&A follows the one hour course with web page support and other on-line resources.

- Communications Skills- Overview on Assertive versus Aggressive Communication styles, Listening (real listening), Fixing "Passive Aggressive Communication Styles" (i.e. the staff member who complains she can't get a word in because you're so "loud" when in reality she doesn't communicate well and you do), Body Language as Communication Style: Lecture/Discussion, Experiential. Overview of intimacy (psychological, philosophical, creative and physical) and how it plays out in sexual harassment issues, in dealing with each other, etc. Focus will be on getting a handle on our own sexuality and associated issues (i.e. why do we drink to drunkenness?)
