Individual- Individual membership is open to any individual holding a degree in Health Education/Promotion, from an accredited university or institution or who has five or more years work experience in Health Education/Promotion, or who has earned 15 or more credit hours in Health Education/Promotion from an accredited university or institution.
Student membership is open to students currently enrolled in accredited institutions or universities of higher learning and working towards a degree in Health Education, and/or Health Promotion.
Institutional membership is open to any agency involved in the practice of health education, Each institution will have one vote on APHELA issues.
